Completed purchase in February 2019, confirming the $13,999 quote as a real sale price. The buyer says the price would usually have been higher without the salt system promotion, and higher again if financed through the dealer. Together, the quote and the sale are the strongest Vanguard price evidence we have.

Dealer's stated list price. The dealer told the buyer the NXT upgrade over the standard Vanguard was only about $400, which a competing dealer in the thread thought implausibly low.

A quote, and the same figure came from more than one Bay Area dealer. A Hot Spring dealer in the thread called it a reasonable Bay Area price and said location has a big effect on pricing. Useful as a regional contrast to the $8,200 Vanguard in the same thread.

Included: Sub panel, ozone, starter chemicals and cover. Delivery and setup not included (quoted separately at $300). The dealer also offered any accessory at 50% off, such as a CoverMate 1 lifter for $100.
A negotiated deal the buyer said they were locked into. A Hot Spring dealer replying later in the same thread called $8,200 a crazy good deal seldom found anywhere, so treat it as a floor rather than a typical 2013 price.
